This website is operated by Healing Narratives Counselling Inc. (“Healing Narratives Counselling Inc.,” “Authentic Living,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Throughout the site, “you” and “your” refer to the site visitor, customer, or user. We offer this website, including all information, tools, and services available from this site to you, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies, and notices stated here.

By visiting our site and/or purchasing from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). These Terms apply to all users of the site, including without limitation browsers, vendors, customers, and content contributors. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not access the website or use our Services.

Our store is hosted on Wix.com Ltd. (“Wix”), which provides the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

SECTION 13 – GEOGRAPHIC SCOPE; SHIPPING REGIONS

We currently sell and ship physical products only within North America (Canada and the United States). Digital products are available worldwide, as they are delivered electronically.

SECTION 14 – SHIPPING, RETURNS, AND DIGITAL PRODUCTS

Your purchase of physical or digital products is governed by our Shipping & Returns Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In summary: physical products are made to order through our print-on-demand partners; returns are not accepted for buyer’s remorse; issues with damaged/defective items must be reported within the stated window; and all digital products are final sale. SECTION 15 – DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES; LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that results will be accurate or reliable. You agree that we may remove the Service for indefinite periods or cancel the Service at any time without notice.

You expressly agree that your use of the Service is at your sole risk. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Healing Narratives Counselling Inc. (and its directors, officers, employees, agents, contractors, suppliers, and licensors) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages (including lost profits, revenue, savings, data, or replacement costs), whether in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or otherwise, arising from your use of the Service or any products procured using the Service. In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law, and in no event exceed the amount you paid for the product or Service giving rise to the claim.

SECTION 16 – INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Healing Narratives Counselling Inc., and our directors, officers, employees, agents, contractors, suppliers, and licensors, from any claim or demand, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of your breach of these Terms or your violation of any law or third-party right.

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, such provision shall be enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law, and the unenforceable portion shall be deemed severed. The remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

SECTION 18 – TERMINATION

These Terms are effective unless and until terminated by either you or us. You may terminate by ceasing use of the site. If in our judgment you fail, or we suspect you have failed, to comply with any term, we may terminate the agreement at any time without notice, and you remain liable for all amounts due up to and including the date of termination. We may deny you access to the Service (or any part thereof) accordingly.

SECTION 19 – ENTIRE AGREEMENT; NO WAIVER; INTERPRETATION

These Terms, together with policies or operating rules posted by us on this site (including our Privacy Policy and Shipping & Returns Policy), constitute the entire agreement between you and us and govern your use of the Service, superseding any prior agreements or communications. These Terms and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the courts located in Montreal, Quebec, for any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service.
